• On Friday, the students will be conducting a science experiment in which we would need sandpaper and white chalk.  If you would be willing to donate either sandpaper or white chalk to your child’s class, please send them to school by Wednesday, November 9^th.
• Our class is also running low on pencil erasers and note cards.  If you would be willing to donate to the class supply, it would be greatly appreciated.

3. Weather vocabulary quiz is Friday, October 28th - the students made the note cards for these words on Monday, October 24th and placed them in their binder
4. Multiplication songs (2-6) quiz is Friday, October 28th - the students copied these songs down on Thursday, October 20th and placed it in their binder to start studying
5. Red Ribbon/Bully Awareness Week:

• Monday: Wear Purple "Purple for calm - Say No to Bullying"
• Tuesday: Wear Red "Red for Courage NOT to Use Drugs"
• Wednesday: Crazy Hair Day - Crazy about Being Kind / Crazy about Being Drug Free
• Thursday: Hat Day - Hats off to Being Kind/Hats off to Being Drug Free

• We have started rounding and estimation in math.  Please ask your child to explain the balloon strategy I taught the students in class.

Welcome Back to School!

I am so glad you are in our class this school year!  Here are some things to remember this week:

• Bring back all paperwork signed by your parents
• Bring back your transportation tag this week only
• Practice your minute math quizzes - this week is doubles facts (ex: 2+2=4, 4+4=8, etc...)
